Original character, fully specified
Give it a seed and get a complete original character: name, species, look, voice, flaw, the world it lives in, a catchphrase, a portrait and three scenes it can already carry. Written as a sheet you can reuse, not a paragraph you have to re-describe.
Finished, self-hosted Frutti episodes — the same engine and pipeline this generator runs. Judge the output before paying anything.
Pick a premise or write your own, and read the episode before you pay for anything. No prompt engineering, no editing, no account.
Your one-line premise becomes a scene-by-scene script with a conflict and a payoff.
Original characters are designed and kept consistent from scene to scene.
Every character gets a distinct AI voice — dialogue is performed, not subtitled.
Word-timed captions are burned in, styled to stay readable with the sound off.
One finished 9:16 episode for TikTok, Shorts and Reels. No editor, no export settings.
The usual output is a list of traits with no consequences: kind, brave, loves the forest. None of that generates a scene, because nothing in it can go wrong. A character becomes usable at the exact moment it acquires a flaw that creates conflict without anyone else in the room.
So the sheet here is built around friction. The flaw row is required and specific, the voice row describes how the character sounds rather than how nice it is, and the world row gives the character somewhere to be refused something. Those three turn a description into a story engine.
The look row is written to be reproducible: colours, proportions and one object always carried. That is the row that stops your OC quietly becoming a different creature on the fourth render, which is the single most common complaint about generating a character with AI.

One contradiction is enough. The generator fills in the rest, and everything it invents stays consistent with the seed you gave it.
A character sheet is only worth having if it gets used. The same account renders the OC into finished vertical episodes with voices and captions, so it stops being a document and starts being a series.
Frutti made this page and Frutti is in the table. Each row describes what the vendor's own product page says the tool is built to do; we have not bench-tested the others' output, and every tool here, ours included, has a job it does better than the rest, and a job it does worse. Checked 4 September 2026.
| Tool | What you get | Writes & voices dialogue | Recurring cast | Best for | Where it falls short |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fruttiours | One finished 9:16 episode, captioned, ready to post. | Yes | Yes | Building a channel around a cast that returns every episode, where the writing carries the video. | Rendering is paid, because generation costs real money per second — and it is slower than a template tool, because it writes and performs a script instead of dropping text onto stock footage. |
| Media.io | A character design, and video generated from that character. | No | Partial | Designing the creature deliberately instead of accepting whatever the prompt returns. | The story and the dialogue are still yours to write. |
| BasedLabs | Generated creature imagery and short clips. | No | No | Spinning up creature concepts quickly when you only need the visual. | Closer to an image generator than a video production tool — no script, no voices. |
| HeyGen | A speaking-character video from a script you supply. | Partial | Yes | Brand mascots and presenter-style delivery where the character speaks straight to camera. | Presenter-shaped rather than story-shaped; not built for absurd multi-character scenes. |
Verified 4 September 2026. Prices, credits and clip counts are read from the configuration that charges for them, not typed into this page. Pricing, refunds, terms. Machine-readable: /api/public/plans and /llms.txt.
A tool that generates an original character (OC) rather than a version of an existing one. Frutti returns a full sheet: name, species, look, voice, flaw, world, catchphrase and starter scenes, plus a portrait.
No. It is instructed to avoid characters owned by studios, games and franchises, and real people. If your seed describes an existing character, it builds the neighbour nobody has made yet instead.
Yes. The description fields follow the language of your idea, or you can pick one explicitly. The name keeps whatever naming style you chose.
Reuse the look row verbatim in every render. It is deliberately written as a wardrobe and proportion description rather than a mood, because a mood cannot be reproduced and a wardrobe can.
The written character is free with no account. The portrait and video renders are paid.
